Scientomech Transparent Level Gauge is a type of sight glass used to visually monitor the level of liquids within tanks, vessels, or pipelines. Unlike Reflex Level Gauges that use special glass with reflective properties, transparent level gauges use clear glass to provide a direct and unobstructed view of the liquid level.

• Material:

  • Body: Typically made of carbon steel, stainless steel (304/316), or alloy steel for strength and corrosion resistance.
  • Glass: Clear, high-strength tempered glass or borosilicate glass, providing clear visibility of liquid levels.

• Size:

  • Length: Standard lengths can range from 6 inches to 120 inches or can be custom-made based on the required tank or vessel height.

• Pressure Rating:

  • Generally rated for low to medium pressures, commonly from 0 to 40 bar and up to 150 bar in some designs.

• Temperature Rating:

  • Can operate within a range of -20C to 450C, depending on the materials used and the application.

• Connection Types:

  • Available with flanged, threaded, or welded connections to match different vessel or tank types. Standards like ANSI, DIN, or JIS can apply.

• Design:

  • The transparent glass provides a direct, clear view of the liquid level.
  • External scale can be provided for easy level reading, often marked with graduations.

• Gasket and Seals:

  • Typically made of rubber, graphite, or PTFE to ensure a tight seal between the gauge body and the glass.

• Applications:
